About
The Côte & Cream story
Côte & Cream began on a quiet evening with a hardcover book, a steaming mug, and a stack of colored sticky tabs. Somewhere between the third reread of a battered copy of an out-of-print romantasy and a Kindle case that wouldn't lie flat, we realized: the things readers actually love don't really exist anywhere.
What we make
Quiet luxury for serious readers. Hardcover journals built to live on the bedside table. Padded Kindle sleeves that survive your tote, your bag, and the bottom of your bed. Stickers, bookmarks, and one-line poems that say what you can't put in your group chat without sounding unhinged.
What we believe
- Books deserve furniture. Your reread shouldn't be stored in a Notes app.
- Annotation is intimacy. The marginalia is the love letter.
- Quiet luxury beats loud branding. French Cream, deep espresso, and not a single screaming logo.
- Made for the dog-eared. If your books look brand new, this isn't for you.
How we make it
Côte & Cream products are made on demand by carefully chosen US-based partners (District Photo for paper, Casestry for tech sleeves) so we keep waste low and quality high. Most orders ship within 3–7 business days from order, and we track everything end-to-end so we can answer any question you have about your specific package.
Who runs it
We're a small operation based out of Westwood, Massachusetts, running on caffeine and back-to-back sprints. If you email coteandcream.shop@gmail.com, you're emailing the founder. We respond within 2 business days—usually faster, especially if you mention what you're currently reading.
Welcome to the dog-eared.
